The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025-26 matches scheduled for Tuesday, December 30, have been called off following the passing of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, with the BCB citing national mourning and her contributions to cricket development.
Two BPL games were scheduled at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium: Sylhet Titans vs Chattogram Royals in the day game, and Dhaka Capitals vs Rangpur Riders later in the day. Both matches were postponed as soon as news of Khaleda Zia’s death at 6:00 AM local time was confirmed.
