As Dhurandhar continues its strong box office run and viral music success, its hit rap track Fa9la is drawing global attention.
Now, Bahrain-based rapper Flipperachi has shared his admiration for actor Akshaye Khanna and his desire to watch the film despite regional restrictions.
The rap track Fa9la, featuring Akshaye Khanna’s powerful entry as Rehman Daiakt, has gone viral across social media platforms.
The song’s popularity has played a major role in boosting the film’s global music appeal.
Flipperachi, who performed the track, has quickly emerged as a new musical sensation in South Asia.
Fans have widely praised the song for its intensity and cinematic impact.
Despite the success of Fa9la, the 36-year-old rapper has not been able to watch Dhurandhar. The film is banned in several Gulf countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The ban is reportedly due to the film’s portrayal of an anti-Pakistan narrative. As a result, Flipperachi has only experienced the film through its music and online clips.
Flipperachi praises Akshaye Khanna
In a recent interview with NDTV, Flipperachi expressed his admiration for Akshaye Khanna.
He said he would genuinely like to watch the film if given the chance.
“Well, I would really like to watch the movie, to be honest. It’s an interesting film, and I’d like to see it because I’m a big fan of Akshaye Khanna,” he said.
Flipperachi added that Khanna is a seasoned actor whose films he grew up watching.
‘Would love to see his comeback,’ Says Rapper
Flipperachi also spoke about Khanna’s return to the spotlight. He said it would be exciting to see a strong comeback from the veteran actor.
The rapper also mentioned Ranveer Singh, praising both actors for their strong artistic and acting abilities.
“These actors make you want to watch them and see how they perform,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar is closing in on Rs 500 crore at the Indian box office. Its soundtrack continues to dominate global music charts, extending the film’s reach beyond cinema halls.
The film’s music-driven popularity has helped it resonate with international audiences. Tracks like Fa9la are being widely shared across platforms.
