The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Composite Circle Sukkur has arrested a suspect involved in running hundi and hawala operations during a raid in Shahdadkot.
The accused, identified as Ghulam Muhammad, was taken into custody after authorities recovered Rs200,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and other evidence linked to illegal hawala-hundi activities from his possession.
According to officials, the suspect failed to provide a satisfactory explanation regarding the source of the recovered currency.
A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigations are underway to arrest other accomplices involved in the network.
