Bollywood icon Aamir Khan has shared candid insights about his career, explaining why he’s stepping back from acting to focus more on production.
During a session in New Delhi, he highlighted the thrill of producing and offered updates on upcoming films from Aamir Khan Productions.
The 60-year-old actor, known for his debut in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, admitted that while he enjoys acting, he cannot star in every film himself.
“Although I enjoy acting more, I can’t do every film by my own,” Aamir told the host. He mentioned that he is currently reading scripts carefully to decide which roles to take next. “One film was released this year, I am listening to the stories, as an actor, to decide which film will be next. And there are a few stories which are nice,” he added.
Production takes center stage
Aamir Khan emphasized the joy he finds in producing, stating, “Production mein apna alag maza hai.” He confirmed that Aamir Khan Productions has several films planned for next year, signaling a busy schedule behind the camera.
