The Muttahida Nanbai Association has raised the prices of naan and khameeri roti by Rs5 in Lahore.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, the association’s president, the new price for naan and khameeri roti has been set at Rs30. He said that the price of fine flour sacks has risen from Rs4,500 to Rs5,000. Due to the increase in fine flour rates, the prices of naan and khameeri roti have been revised.

Meanwhile, the association said that if the demands are accepted, naan and khameeri roti will be sold at Rs25.
The Punjab government said it has no connection with the rise in the price of fine flour sacks. It added that plain roti continues to be sold at the government-approved rate of Rs14.
