Pakistani actress Munazzah Arif has completed a culinary course and is now a certified home chef.
Speaking on Samaa TV’s morning programme "Subh Ka Samaa Madeha Kay Sath", Munazzah shared her thoughts on healthy ageing. She said that what prevents a person from ageing are the "happy hormones", which can be developed through physical activity, learning something new and taking on new challenges in life.
She said that the absence of challenge in one’s daily routine contributes to the ageing process. Giving an example, she said that if a person enjoys cooking, they should try the same recipe with a new twist to keep things engaging.
The "Adhi Gawahi" actress highlighted the important role of one’s environment, particularly the encouragement received from children and other family members.
She also emphasised the value of maintaining friendships, even if the only purpose of meeting is to share a cup of tea.
