An Australian police officer has broken the Guinness World Record for the most pull-ups in one hour, completing 733 repetitions and surpassing the previous mark by eight.
Jade Henderson, 32, achieved the feat with exceptional physical endurance, eclipsing the earlier record of 725 set in 2016 by fellow Australian Eva Clarke. The previous record had stood for nearly a decade.
Henderson, who serves in the Australian police force, said she began preparing for the challenge out of a desire to explore her physical and mental limits. She initially aimed to attempt the 24-hour pull-up record, which currently stands at 7,079 and is held by Olivia Vinson, also from Australia.
However, a bicep tear sustained during training forced a change of plans. Henderson paused her preparations for approximately six weeks to allow the injury to heal. Following recovery, she shifted her focus to the one-hour record in order to reduce the risk of further injury.
Her performance has drawn international attention, with many praising her dedication and resilience.
