Experts said the albino panda appears to be in good health and shows no signs of physical weakness.
The presence of the rare panda first came to light in 2019 when a researcher installed infrared cameras in the nature reserve and succeeded in recording footage of the animal at an altitude of about 6,500 metres above sea level.
In 2023, Li Sheng of the Peking University School of Life Sciences said the albino panda maintained positive interactions with other wildlife in its natural habitat.
Scientists are now examining the panda's DNA in an effort to gain a deeper understanding of its biology and genetic characteristics.
