Pakistan's javelin ace Arshad Nadeem has qualified for the final of the World Athletics Championships javelin throw event.
He secured his place with a throw of 85.28 metres on his third attempt. His earlier throws measured 76.99 metres and 74.17 metres respectively.
Earlier, India’s Neeraj Chopra qualified for the final from a separate group with a throw of 84.85 metres.
Arshad Nadeem and Neeraj Chopra are competing in different groups. Two Indian athletes are present in Nadeem’s group. The final round will be held on Thursday.
