At Churu railway station in Rajasthan, India, a 70-year-old man suddenly fell ill when his blood sugar level dropped dangerously low. Bhala Ram, a resident of Haryana, was returning from Jaisalmer with his family when the incident occurred.
A young man named Shubham, who was present at the station, acted quickly. He placed the elderly man on his motorcycle and, accompanied by the patient’s son, took him directly to the hospital emergency ward.
Doctors said that without prompt medical attention, the man’s life would have been at serious risk.
Shubham’s brave action not only saved the patient’s life but also impressed the doctors and onlookers at the hospital.
The medical staff praised the youth’s presence of mind and courage, emphasising that timely action in emergencies is crucial for saving lives.
A video of the incident rapidly spread on social media, showing Shubham carefully placing the elderly man on the motorcycle and riding him safely to the hospital.
Social media users praised the young man’s bravery, describing such individuals as beacons of hope for society. Several viewers compared the scene to a famous sequence from the film "Three Idiots".
Doctors confirmed that the patient is now out of danger and expected to make a full recovery.
