The federal government has issued revised prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight, effective from September 1.
According to details surfaced in the wee hours of Monday, the price of petrol has remained unchanged at Rs264.61 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs3 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs269.99 per litre.
Kerosene oil has seen a reduction of Rs1.46 per litre, with the new price set at Rs176.81 per litre.
The price of light diesel oil has now reached Rs159.76 per litre after a decrease of Rs2.40 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification, and the revised prices have come into effect for the next 15 days.
