The scheduled 11th meeting of the National Finance Commission (NFC), set for 11 a.m. tomorrow, has been postponed due to the ongoing flood emergency across the country.
The meeting was to be chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, who heads the newly constituted nine-member NFC.
Sources divulged that the decision to defer the meeting followed a request from the Government of Sindh.
A new date for the NFC meeting will be announced later, the Ministry of Finance confirmed.
