The deputy commissioner of Sargodha has declared Saturday, August 23, a public holiday in connection with the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hassan.
The procession taken out on the occasion is considered one of the largest religious processions in Punjab. All public and private educational institutions in the city will remain closed on this day, according to an official notification.
