Brooklyn Beckham’s vow renewal speech has stirred emotions once again, as insiders claim the 25-year-old lavished heartfelt praise on his wife Nicola Peltz’s family—while offering no similar tribute to his own parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
According to reports, Brooklyn delivered a moving speech during the intimate ceremony on August 2, held at his father-in-law Nelson Peltz’s estate.
“He spoke from the heart—at the centre of his heart is Nicola, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side,” a source told The Mirror.
Brooklyn reportedly went out of his way to honor his in-laws, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, making sure “to do them justice” in front of the 200 invited guests.
Victoria and David feel sidelined
The absence of a similar tribute to his own parents has reportedly caused fresh heartache for David, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51.
Family insiders claim the Beckhams feel increasingly excluded from their son’s personal milestones, with friends now worried that Brooklyn is behaving “out of character.”
Nicola honours her parents too
Adding to the symbolism, Nicola Peltz, 30, wore a reworked version of her mother Claudia’s wedding gown, while her father presided over the ceremony. The moment further cemented the significance of her parents’ role in the celebration.
While the Beckhams have long projected a united family image, speculation around a rift with the Peltz family has followed Brooklyn and Nicola since their 2022 wedding. This latest report may only fuel rumors of ongoing tension between the two households.
