Pakistani rupee continued to strengthen against the US dollar for the eighth consecutive day, as both interbank and open market rates saw declines.
According to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP), the dollar lost 20 paisas in the open market, settling at Rs285.30.
Meanwhile, in the interbank market, the greenback dropped by 7 paisas and was recorded at Rs282.80.
The consistent drop reflects improved sentiment in currency markets amid better dollar inflows and reduced import pressure.
