The price of gold in Pakistan and globally witnessed a significant increase for the fourth consecutive session on Monday.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a hike of Rs1,600 on Monday to reach Rs359,700. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,371, taking it to Rs308,384.

The global gold market also witnessed a big change, with the price of gold per ounce rising by $16 to reach $3,372.
The silver prices in Pakistan also saw a notable hike, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver rising by Rs65 to reach Rs4,087, and the price for 10 grams of silver to Rs3,503.
