MNA Sher Afzal Marwat alleged on Tuesday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan was "responsible" for his expulsion from the party.
Speaking on Samaa TV’s programme "Red Line with Talat Hussain", Marwat said: "Imran Khan insists that all authority lies with the establishment and therefore any negotiations must be held with them. However, the establishment has already made it clear that it cannot betray the government."
He argued that the insistence on negotiating solely with the establishment would not lead to any resolution. Marwat criticised the PTI leaders for blaming Imran Khan for their own "failures".
Marwat dismissed any possibility of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government being dissolved, but reiterated that the PTI is now fragmented and plagued by decisions rooted in malice.
