A day after a minor increase, the price of gold in Pakistan and globally witnessed a massive rise.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola saw an increase of Rs6,600 on Tuesday to reach Rs356,800. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold picked up by Rs5,658, taking it to Rs305,898.

The global gold market also witnessed a big change, with the price of gold per ounce rising by $66 to reach $3,348.
The silver prices in Pakistan also hiked, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver rising by Rs52 to reach Rs3,834, and the price for 10 grams of silver increasing to Rs3,287.
