Humraaz, a much-hyped drama directed by Farooq Rind, known for his success with Ishq Murshid, has quickly found itself under scrutiny.
Despite its star-studded cast of Ayeza Khan, Zahid Ahmed, Amna Ilyas, and Feroze Khan, the drama is struggling to win over fans.
After airing nine episodes, the story, penned by Misbah Nosheen and produced by Asad Qureshi and Abdullah Kadwani, revolves around Sara (Ayeza Khan) being accused of killing Faraz, Saim’s elder brother, played by Feroze Khan.
However, fans are not buying into the drama’s far-fetched plot and poor execution. Viewers have pointed out glaring loopholes and illogical scenarios that weaken the show’s impact.
Here’s what some fans had to say:
- “How stupid is the story? Just based on similar names, they have created an entire crime scenario and are showing the police being fooled in this situation.”
- “When such a crime occurs, the police immediately visit the university for investigation, but here, the police have not visited the main investigation site. Instead, they are making a fool of the audience.”
- “They have such a big house, and anyone can enter it so easily.”
- “This story is full of loopholes and flaws. This big cast is being wasted by the drama makers.”
- “They wasted Laiba Khan, gave Ayeza Khan the character of an innocent girl, made Feroze Khan completely negative, and added Sara 2’s family is the biggest turn-off about Humraaz. Samiya is a useless role. If Faraz loved Sara, why did he visit foreign countries with Samiya?”
- “The writer conceived an emotional track for Saim without proper research, logic, or evidence.”
Despite the powerhouse cast and the buzz surrounding the drama, Humraaz seems to be falling short of expectations. Fans believe that a strong cast deserves a well-thought-out story, not one riddled with inconsistencies.
