Tremors were felt in Swat and surrounding areas for the second consecutive day, with the earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale.
According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake had a depth of 97 kilometres, with its epicentre located in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
No casualties or property damage have been reported as a result of the tremors.

Earlier, it was reported that an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Zhob region of Balochistan, according to the Seismological Centre on Thursday.
According to details, the epicentre was located approximately 60 kilometres southeast of Zhob, with a depth of 40 kilometres beneath the Earth's surface.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department director general had stated that the monsoon was expected to begin about a month earlier than usual.
"Typically, the monsoon season in Pakistan occurs during July and August", he added.
