Pakistan's military spokesperson, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has reaffirmed the nation’s unity, strength, and commitment to peace while warning India against any future misadventures.
"India thought it could attack and Pakistan would not respond," the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) DG stated. "But the entire nation stood together — Pakistan stood like an iron wall by the will of Allah, exposing the flaws in India's strategy one by one."
Refuting any notions of internal division, the statement emphasized, "They believed the people and the military were divided — never. This nation and its army have always been united."
Revealing details of Pakistan's calculated response to Indian aggression, ISPR DG Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry was said, "Our leadership decided to retaliate at 26 locations within India."
A specific incident was also highlighted: "In Muzaffarabad, when seven-year-old Irtiza was martyred due to shelling ordered by an Indian brigade headquarters, we destroyed that very brigade headquarters."
The statement further addressed Indian airstrikes: "On the 6th and 7th, jets from several Indian airbases took off and targeted Pakistani children — we responded by destroying those airbases."
It was stressed that Pakistan, despite being under attack, refrained from targeting civilian infrastructure. "Did our forces target any civilian facility, population, or temple? No. We are peace-loving and prioritize peace."
However, a stern warning followed: "If India makes the same mistake again, our response will be even more severe."
Turning attention to regional terrorism, the armed forces spokesperson asserted, "Behind every terrorist attack in Pakistan, India’s face is visible."
Rejecting false associations, it added, "Those who bomb mosques and slaughter innocents have no connection with Islam, nor with the proud traditions of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These terrorists are followers of India."
Criticism was also directed at extremist ideologies. "When Khariji (extremist) leaders say Sharia allows seeking help from non-believers, they mislead. Islam never allows truth and falsehood to coexist. Neither can Islam and these Kharijites stand together."
"You seek help from India — the same country that violates the dignity of Kashmiri girls. Shame on you."
Pakistan’s brotherly ties with Afghanistan
ISPR DG emphasized Pakistan’s brotherly ties with Afghanistan. "Afghanistan is our brotherly Islamic neighbor. The Pashtun is your brother. The problem lies with the elite who are bought by India."
An appeal was made to the Afghan people: "We urge our Afghan brothers — do not give shelter to terrorists. Do not become tools of Indian policy."
Concluding with a powerful message to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the ISPR DG said, “To the brave people and tribes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the time has come again — Kashmir will become Pakistan.”
