Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced an expansion in its international operations with the launch of direct flights from Lahore to Paris, starting June 18.
According to a spokesperson for the national carrier, the new route will operate once a week, with flights departing every Wednesday from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Currently, PIA operates two weekly direct flights from Islamabad to Paris. With the addition of the Lahore–Paris route, the airline’s total direct weekly flights to the French capital will rise to three, enhancing connectivity for Pakistani travellers and the diaspora community in Europe.
“The new flight is part of PIA’s broader plan to expand its reach across Europe, making air travel more accessible and convenient for passengers,” said the airline’s spokesperson.
The spokesperson further revealed that additional European destinations are also on the radar and flights to more cities will be launched soon to meet passenger needs.
