Stretching an astonishing 30.54 meters (100 feet) in length, The American Dream holds the Guinness World Record for being the longest car in the world.
Originally built in 1986 by custom car designer Jay Ohrberg, this incredible limousine was constructed from six Cadillac Eldorado limousines and is packed with luxury features.
Record-breaking Limousine
Initially 18.28 meters (60 feet) long, The American Dream was later extended to 30.5 meters and powered by two V8 engines—one in the front and another in the rear. After falling into neglect for years, it was rescued and restored by automotive enthusiasts Michael Dezer and Michael Manning.
Today, the car has 26 new wheels, a fresh white paint job, and an extended frame, making it the longest-operational vehicle ever built.
Limo like no other
More than just a long car, The American Dream boasts:
- A swimming pool with a diving board
- A jacuzzi and bathtub
- A mini-golf course
- A king-sized waterbed
- A functional helipad for small helicopters
Despite being technically drivable, the car’s immense length makes turning nearly impossible, limiting it to straight roads only. Instead, it serves as a museum display at Dezerland Park Orlando’s Auto Museum in Florida, where visitors can marvel at this record-breaking masterpiece.
