Nushrratt Bharuccha, a Bollywood actress, recently returned to India after attending the Haifa International Film Festival.
Upon her arrival at the Mumbai airport, she appeared visibly shaken and shared her traumatic experience of being caught in the midst of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Bharuccha recounted how her trip had initially been enjoyable, with her movie "Akelli" being featured at the festival.
However, the situation took a drastic turn when sudden bombings led to widespread panic and chaos. She described the terrifying moment of waking up to the sounds of explosions and how she and her team were hurriedly moved to a makeshift shelter in a basement.
As the conflict escalated, Bharuccha saw disturbing images of women and children being forcibly dragged. Amidst the turmoil, Nushrratt’s team worked tirelessly to ensure her safe return back to her homeland.
The actress expressed her hope for a swift recovery from the ordeal, and her story serves as a stark reminder of the widespread fear and devastation caused by the ongoing coflicts.
