Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim on Sunday hailed Kakul training camp as a step towards team bonding.
In a video statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Wasim paid tribute to the Pakistan Army, saying, "I would like to express my gratitude to the Pakistan Army for making the best arrangements for us [the Pakistan cricket team]."
"The food, weather, and residence were all perfect in Kakul. The two-week stay in Kakul will remain in our memories," Wasim said.
He underlined the importance of unity in the team, saying, "The results cannot come in your favour without unity in he team." All the boys were of the view that it was important to attend Kakul training camp."
"I have achieved my target in Kakul. Thanks to the Higher Power, my morale has been boosted in difficult times."
