The Free and Fair Election Network (Fafen) has issued its report on the 28th session of the National Assembly, showing that only 99 of the 336 members attended all 15 sittings.
PM Shehbaz attended 6 of 15 NA sittings
According to the report, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended six of the 15 sittings, while Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai attended 12 sittings.
Half of federal ministers absent during Question Hour
During Question Hour, six of the 12 federal ministers were present, while four were absent. During the discussion on calling attention notices, only two of the four relevant federal ministers were present in the House.
The report stated that six members did not attend a single sitting, while 70 per cent of members were absent from at least one sitting.
Attendance peaks at 300 during 13th sitting
Attendance reached its highest level during the 13th sitting, with 300 members present. The fifth sitting recorded the lowest attendance, with 209 members in attendance.
The report also stated that six federal ministers and three ministers of state attended all 15 sittings.
