Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari directed on Thursday Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore to intensify public contact efforts as part of preparations for the election campaign.
Meeting discusses forthcoming AJK Legislative Assembly polls
The direction was issued during a meeting held between the two leaders regarding the forthcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections.

PPP Azad Kashmir President Chaudhry Yasin was also present during the meeting. Bhutto-Zardari said that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir remain close to his heart and that he will visit every district during the election campaign.
'Kashmir issue foundation of PPP'
The former foreign minister stated that the Kashmir issue formed the foundation of the Pakistan Peoples Party and that the party has consistently raised the matter on international platforms.
He said that the PPP stands with the people of Kashmir in addressing their problems and that the party manifesto should be effectively conveyed to the public across all districts.
A briefing was also given on the preparations related to the election campaign for the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly polls.
