The price of gold in the global market and Pakistan saw a massive hike on Thursday after at least five days of decline.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan surged by a massive Rs9,100, reaching Rs428,736 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs7,802, taking it to Rs367,572. The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold also hiked by Rs7,152 to be sold for Rs336,953.

International gold prices
In the international market also, the price of gold per ounce has hiked by $91 to reach $4,063 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend, with the price of 24-karat silver per tola hiking by Rs203 to reach Rs6,445 in Pakistan. Similarly, the price of 10g of 24-karat silver also increased by Rs174 to Rs5,525.
