Australia Women secured a place in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final after an eight-wicket victory over West Indies Women at the Kennington Oval in London.
West Indies Women were restricted to 125 for 7 from their 20 overs after being put into bat. Hayley Matthews, the West Indies captain, made 30 runs before being dismissed by Georgia Wareham, while Shemaine Campbelle scored 22.
Gardner, Wareham take two each as Dottin makes unbeaten 26 off 16
Deandra Dottin remained not out on 26 from 16 deliveries, providing late resistance in the lower order. For Australia, Ashleigh Gardner and Georgia Wareham took two wickets each, while Annabel Sutherland and Sophie Molineux also contributed with the ball.

Georgia Voll made 16 before being bowled by Chinelle Henry, while Phoebe Litchfield fell for 4 to Hayley Matthews. Ellyse Perry retired hurt during the innings due to a thigh concern but later remained available in the dugout.
West Indies suffered a major setback when Deandra Dottin experienced a medical issue before the match and was later required to bat lower in the order. Australia maintained control throughout the contest and advanced to the final at Lord’s, remaining unbeaten in the tournament.
