Committee briefed on Centre of Excellence for autistic children in Islamabad
The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training gave a detailed briefing to the committee. The briefing highlighted steps taken to establish a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence for autistic children in Islamabad.
Global best practices for special children education
Comments from experts in the field were also presented before the committee. The deputy prime minister directed the relevant institutions to adopt global best practices to ensure quality education and services for special children and to expedite work on the project.
The meeting was attended by SAPM Tariq Bajwa, federal secretaries of education and health, and senior officials from relevant departments.
