Renowned Pakistan's actor Danish Taimoor has said that the Portugal national football team, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, need a miracle to win the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The actor, known for the drama Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, shared his football analysis on Instagram while wearing Portugal’s jersey. Danish Taimoor said five teams appeared stronger than the rest after the first round. He named France national football team, England national football team, Brazil national football team, Spain national football team and Morocco national football team among the leading sides.

He praised their style of play, including defensive organisation, pressing, positioning, quick transitions, ball recovery and control of the match tempo.
The actor said these teams showed the qualities of genuine title contenders and added that one of them could lift the World Cup trophy if they maintained the same intensity and discipline.
Danish Taimoor doubts Portugal’s title hopes
Speaking about Portugal, Danish Taimoor said his heart wanted the team to succeed, but their performances so far did not make them look like champions. He added that something extraordinary, even a miracle, would be required for Portugal to win the tournament.
He also mentioned that football fans may be watching the final World Cup appearances of several legends, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Luka Modrić, Manuel Neuer and Neymar.
