A major countrywide crackdown has been ordered against Afghan citizens residing illegally in Pakistan.

According to the Ministry of Interior, a final deadline of July 10 has been fixed. Instructions have been issued that all illegally residing Afghan nationals are to be arrested before July 10.
Strict implementation of order directed to chief secretaries
Provincial chief secretaries, inspectors general of police, and the Islamabad administration have been directed to ensure strict implementation of the order.
From July 11 onwards, daily reports of arrests and enforcement actions are to be submitted to the Ministry of Interior.
