Pakistan wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan has been available for selection for the national side’s upcoming Test series against West Indies, scheduled next month in the Caribbean.
The sources divulged on Sunday, Rizwan had been suffering from a groin problem but has now regained full fitness. It is stated that he has resumed batting and is again available for selection.

It is reported that the squad for the West Indies tour is expected to be announced later this week.
Red-ball training camp underway at NCA ahead of season
Meanwhile, a red-ball training camp is underway at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore, aimed at strengthening preparations ahead of the international and domestic season.
Imam-ul-Haq backs extended camp, highlights fitness and skills training
Imam-ul-Haq, Test opening batter, welcomed the extended camp, saying such arrangements are beneficial for players. He stated that fitness work, basic skills and technical training are being focused on during the camp.
He added that it is encouraging to see a long-duration camp of this nature after some time, and that players are gaining benefit from it. He said that national and academy coaches working together is essential, and that detailed training work is being carried out with players.
The players trained under the supervision of NCA and red-ball coaches. Net sessions at the LCCA Ground focused on batting technique, while bowlers worked on improving line, length and rhythm under coaching guidance.
The camp is aimed at improving red-ball readiness of players ahead of the upcoming season.
