Police have registered a case over an alleged dance party held inside the Rawalpindi Judicial Complex after a video of the incident surfaced on social media.
The FIR was lodged at Civil Lines Police Station on the complaint of a sessions court watchman, while authorities have begun efforts to identify and arrest those seen in the video.
According to police records, the case was registered at Civil Lines Police Station following a complaint submitted by a sessions court watchman.
In his complaint, the watchman stated that he came across a video circulating on social media that allegedly showed men and women engaging in indecent acts inside the Judicial Complex.
Alleged activity inside lawyers’ section
According to the text of the FIR, the incident reportedly took place in a section of the Judicial Complex that is used by lawyers. The complainant alleged that men and women could be seen performing indecent acts in the video.
He further stated that the faces of the individuals visible in the footage can be clearly identified.
Search for suspects
Following the registration of the FIR, Civil Lines Police launched a search operation to trace and identify the individuals seen in the video.
Police officials said efforts are underway to locate the suspects and proceed with legal action in accordance with the law.
Authorities are examining the video and other available evidence as part of the investigation. The case has drawn attention after the footage circulated widely on social media, prompting law enforcement authorities to initiate formal legal proceedings.
