Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Tuesday, during which the two leaders discussed recent regional and global developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability.
According to the Foreign Office, the conversation centered on the rapidly changing regional and international landscape, with both leaders exchanging views on current developments and efforts to address them.
The discussion also covered ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and promoting stability in the region.
Kuwait appreciates Pakistan’s diplomatic role
During the call, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah appreciated Pakistan’s continued role in facilitating dialogue and promoting diplomatic engagement between the United States and Iran.
He also acknowledged Pakistan’s constructive contribution to regional peace and security efforts.
Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s position that diplomacy and sustained dialogue remain the most effective means of achieving lasting peace and stability.
He emphasized that Pakistan would continue supporting all efforts aimed at fostering peaceful solutions to regional challenges.
Hope for positive diplomatic outcomes
Both foreign ministers expressed hope that ongoing diplomatic initiatives would produce positive results and help create conditions for long-term peace in the region.
They stressed the importance of continued engagement and communication among regional stakeholders.
The two leaders also reaffirmed the strong brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.
