Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hina Parvez Butt has raised concerns over a drama being made on the alleged cocaine dealer Anmol Pinky.
She has termed the project as shameful and inappropriate, and questioned the decision to portray such a figure as a role model for the sake of viewership and profit. Hina has stated that if a drama is being produced on the real-life Pinky, then it is an utterly shameful and brazen act.

Hina has said that Pinky is no role model for dramatisation, and that such portrayals are an insult to women who have contributed positively to society and continue to do so. She asked how long individuals of such character would continue to be presented as role models merely for ratings and financial gain.
