Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is scheduled to meet US Secretary of State and National Security Adviser Marco Rubio in Washington tomorrow.
According to the Foreign Office, Dar will leave New York for Washington on Friday as part of the second phase of his official visit to the United States. The meeting will cover bilateral relations, regional and global developments, and matters of mutual interest.
Officials are also expected to discuss strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and the United States in key priority sectors.
Pakistan’s efforts and progress towards promoting regional peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy will also come under discussion.
