Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has said that the Pakistan-China strategic partnership is set to reach new heights under the leadership of both countries.
The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) president has termed the completion of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China as a matter of pride, calling the friendship a model of international cooperation for the global community.
In a message marking the occasion, he said he takes great pride in the completion of 75 years of diplomatic ties, terming the relationship an “all-weather strategic partnership” and referring to China as Pakistan’s “iron brother”. He said the partnership is based on deep trust, mutual respect, and shared development.
He said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a flagship project of President Xi Jinping’s Belt and Road vision, has so far seen the construction of around 1,500 kilometres of highways in Pakistan, serving as clear evidence of mutual cooperation.
Aleem Khan said the multilateral partnership between the two countries forms a cornerstone of regional stability and prosperity, adding that Pakistan remains grateful for China’s continued support on diplomatic fronts.
He stated that the enduring friendship is a model for international cooperation, and on the Diamond Jubilee of ties, both countries reaffirm their commitment to a shared future.
The IPP president also reiterated confidence that the Pakistan-China partnership will continue to reach new heights under the leadership of both sides.
