A four-member medical team conducted a medical examination of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan at Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, the medical team was led by Professor Dr Nadeem Qureshi and Arif Khan, and included Dr Saman Waqar and Ali Arif. The team reached Adiala Jail at around 4:30 pm, carrying essential medical equipment brought from PIMS Hospital in an ambulance van.
The medical staff carried out an eye examination and a complete medical check-up of Imran Khan inside a special room at the jail hospital.
A report of the medical examination will be submitted to the jail administration.
Meanwhile, Barrister Gohar, speaking outside Adiala Jail, stated that restrictions on meetings with Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are 'inhumane' and should come to an end.
He rejected any suggestion of a march or mobilisation against the state.
He stated that there would be no encouragement for any such action, and that political matters should be resolved through dialogue.
