The strong earthquake tremors were felt in several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Swat and Malakand, causing fear and panic among residents.
According to details surfaced on Monday, the Seismological Centre recorded the earthquake at a magnitude of 4.9, with a depth of 130 kilometres. The epicentre was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
No loss of life or property damage has been reported so far. Residents rushed out of homes as tremors struck parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
