Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said continued diplomatic efforts between Iran and the United States would help promote peace and stability in the region and across the world.
According to details that emerged on Monday, Dar held a meeting with United States Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A Baker in Islamabad, where the two sides discussed the changing regional situation and Pakistan-US relations.
During the meeting, Dar highlighted Pakistan’s role in facilitating contacts between the United States and Iran.
He also appreciated American cooperation in the return of Pakistani and Iranian seafarers through Singapore.
The meeting took place in Islamabad amid continuing diplomatic engagement on regional affairs.
