Pakistan's armed forces are commemorating the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, paying tribute to what they described as a historic chapter in the country’s national defence.
According to ISPR, the operations conducted on the night of May 6 and 7 stood as a defining moment in Pakistan’s military history, particularly for the Pakistan Air Force.
It said the events of the night of May 6 and 7 strengthened national confidence, reaffirmed institutional resolve and validated the Pakistan Air Force’s consistent focus on modernization and capability enhancement.
ISPR described the operations conducted during Marka-e-Haq as a manifestation of high professionalism in the history of air warfare.
Pakistan Air Force’s modernisation highlighted
According to ISPR, the historic milestone reflects the Pakistan Air Force’s steady journey toward becoming a future-ready air power.
The statement said this progress has been achieved through smart inductions of cutting-edge systems and the swift operationalization of niche and disruptive technologies.
ISPR said these efforts have helped consolidate the operational reorientation of the Pakistan Air Force and strengthened its ability to respond to the changing demands of modern combat.
ISPR said the Pakistan Air Force has mastered the skillful employment of multi-domain operations. Through this capability, the PAF continues to strengthen itself as a future-focused and capable air power.
The statement added that the force remains fully prepared to uphold Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity amid the evolving nature and parameters of modern air warfare.
Operations described as unprecedented in scope
The successful execution of the Marka-e-Haq operations was described as unprecedented in scope and novel in the history of aerial warfare.
ISPR said the operations not only highlighted the professional excellence of the Pakistan Air Force but also renewed the pride, confidence and spirit of the resilient Pakistani nation.
The statement said this achievement stands as a symbol of national resolve and operational preparedness.
ISPR said Pakistan is a peace-loving country and its Armed Forces reflect a mature and responsible strategic culture. The statement emphasized that every effort, preparation and endeavour of Pakistan armed forces is dedicated to preserving peace, promoting stability and ensuring security in the region.
It added that peace for Pakistan has always been inseparable from honour, dignity and sovereign equality.
Armed forces monitoring evolving security environment
The armed forces remain fully aware of the evolving geopolitical and regional security environment, ISPR said. The statement also noted that the armed forces are conscious of the aggressive capability pursuits of adversarial forces.
While the strategic environment continues to transform, ISPR said the resolve, vigilance and commitment of Pakistan armed forces to defend the nation remain unwavering.
ISPR said Pakistan armed forces continue to invest in critical capabilities, advanced technologies and professional excellence required to meet future challenges. The statement added that the armed forces are more focused than ever before and fully prepared for the future battlespace.
According to ISPR, they remain ready to decisively respond to any aggression imposed upon the homeland.
Warning against hostile designs
In its message, ISPR warned that any hostile design against Pakistan would be countered with even greater strength, precision and resolve.
The statement said any response in the future would be far stronger than what the adversary witnessed during Marka-e-Haq. This message, ISPR said, reflects the Armed Forces’ continued commitment to national defence and regional stability.
ISPR said the nation tonight pays tribute to every member of the Pakistan Air Force. The statement praised PAF personnel for their professionalism, sacrifice, untiring efforts and exceptional operational focus.
According to ISPR, these qualities remained pivotal to the historic defence of Pakistan’s airspace.
Pakistan Air Force called 'second to none'
Concluding its message, ISPR said the Pakistan Air Force is, and Insha’Allah will remain, “Second to None.” The statement described the PAF as a symbol of pride, strength and confidence for the Pakistani nation.
It added that the Pakistan Air Force will continue to stand as a source of national honour and a key pillar of the country’s defence.
