Passport services at Pakistani diplomatic missions across the world have been temporarily suspended due to a technical fault.
Embassies have informed overseas Pakistanis that all passport-related services will remain closed until further notice. Officials said the system was affected owing to a technical fault at the Passport Head Office in Islamabad, leading to the suspension of services at missions worldwide.
The closure has caused serious difficulties for expatriates, while Pakistanis in various countries have urged the government to take immediate notice and restore the system.
