Students from various institutions attended the ceremony in large numbers, expressing their devotion by laying wreaths at the shrine.

Musical and literary performances
Renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan captivated the audience by reciting Iqbal’s Kalam, including the iconic “Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua.”
Students from Government College University also delivered soulful recitations, adding warmth and depth to the gathering.
Maimuna Sajid drew applause as she recited “Har Lakha Hai Momin Ki Nai An Nai Shan,” energizing the audience and reinforcing Iqbal’s message of selfhood.
Prominent educationists attend
The ceremony witnessed the presence of leading educationists, including Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir and Principal Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal.
Other notable attendees included Dr. Iram from Kinnaird College for Women University, Dr. Ijazullah Cheema of University of Management and Technology, and Dr. Baseera Ambreen from University of the Punjab.
Deans and officials from Lahore College for Women University, Government College University, and Superior University were also in attendance, alongside Professor Dr. Nadeem Jafar.
Iqbal’s philosophy highlighted
