The White House on Friday said it would not disclose private diplomatic conversations when asked about Iran’s new proposal to the United States, which was submitted through Pakistani mediators.
“We do not detail private diplomatic conversations. President Trump has been clear that Iran can never possess a nuclear weapon, and negotiations continue to ensure the short- and long-term national security of the United States,” White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told Reuters.

Eariler, it was reported that Iran had sent a new proposal to the United States through Pakistan, signaling renewed diplomatic efforts amid ongoing regional tensions.
The move comes as talks between Tehran and Washington remain stalled despite a fragile ceasefire.
A diplomatic source confirmed that Iran submitted a new proposal to Pakistani mediators on Thursday.
