Authorities have announced that all transport terminals in Rawalpindi, including Pirwadhai, will reopen at 6am on Monday, while public transport services suspended for the past week have also been permitted to resume.
Officials said the restoration of transport in the city would provide travel facilities to citizens and help bring daily life back to normal in a gradual manner. Meanwhile, the Metro Bus service has also been partially restored from Sunday. The administration stated that the service will operate across 22 stations, from Saddar Station to Shaheed Millat Station.
However, Metro Bus operations will remain suspended at Press Ground and Pak Secretariat stations for the time being.
