The Iranian delegation, led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, has departed Pakistan following talks on regional matters.
According to details, the delegation will next visit Oman and the Russian Federation after concluding its stay in Pakistan. Sources divulged that, subject to progress, Iran’s Foreign Minister may visit Islamabad again following official trips to Oman and Russia.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on X that he met Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi in Islamabad and held a cordial exchange of views on the regional situation and bilateral relations.
Iran, during the visit, is reported to have briefed Pakistan’s leadership regarding its concerns linked to talks with the United States. The Iranian foreign minister met the prime minister in Islamabad on Saturday, where the prevailing regional situation and bilateral ties were reviewed. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir were also present at the meeting.
Sources said the Iranian delegation conveyed details of its position on ongoing diplomatic matters with the United States.
Earlier, Abbas Araghchi also met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir during his visit to Islamabad, according to the Iranian embassy.
Both sides agreed on the importance of dialogue, regional peace and continued cooperation.
