Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have led to a significant development in regional engagements as an Iranian delegation led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Islamabad on Friday.
The delegation was received by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Asim Munir upon arrival. During the visit, the Iranian foreign minister is expected to hold meetings with senior Pakistani leadership.

Separately, reports indicate that United States President Donald Trump has decided to send a high-level delegation to Pakistan for talks with Iran.
Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are reported to be included in the negotiating team, according to CNN, citing American officials.
US representatives are expected to meet the Iranian foreign minister in Pakistan as part of wider diplomatic engagement.
