Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said that Pakistan remained committed to reducing regional tensions.
In an interview with Fox Business Network, he said the country was engaged in efforts to ease the regional situation. He said Pakistan was committed to the second phase of talks in Islamabad.
Aurangzeb added that necessary steps were being taken in view of the regional security situation. He said efforts were under way to maintain the supply chain of gas and petrol.
He said Pakistan had taken measures to support peace in the region.
The finance minister said the leadership was playing its role in reducing tensions.
