Khyber Pakhtunkhwa spokesperson Shafay Jan claimed on Tuesday that the province and chief minister Sohail Afridi were facing discriminatory treatment.
Speaking to the media, he alleged that the province was not receiving its share under the NFC, while funds remained readily available for Punjab. He added that more than 50,000 people had so far joined the 'release force'. Shafay Jan said Chief Minister Sohail Afridi headed a province with a population of 45 million. He stated that, in line with court orders, the chief minister had visited 11 times to meet PTI founder Imran Khan, yet no meeting had been arranged.
He said there was no desire for confrontation, but a long march would take place for the sake of their mandate.
